Day 6 - Painted Desert and Petrified Forest, AZ
Today we ventured out to see the views of the Painted Desert in Arizona. It was incredibly spectacular! Afterwards we drove nearby to the Petrified Forest. It wasn't at all what I'd expect a forest to look like. But rather, it was the remains of a forest that once was. It's incredible to see how these trees have turned to stone! Finally we drove into Sedona, AZ where we'll spend the night. Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!

Jesse and I were there! I remember being surprised at the Petrified Forest too... but it was very cool in a different way. :-) Your photos are stunning! Yowsa!
